ISO 9001 Quality Management System Award

We are proud that Durrat Al Muharraq Cleaning & Maintenance has been awarded the ISO 9001 : 2008 compliance certificate for Quality Management System.

Receiving the ISO 9001 : 2008 Award is one way that we ensure a high standard of quality which is by demonstrating, to an accredited certification body, that we can fulfill the requirements of the Quality Management System standard.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) founded in 1947, promotes worldwide propriety, industrial and commercial standards. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and at work in 163 countries, it is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards. ISO created the requirements for the standard and continually works to improve it.

The process of getting certified can take more than a year. The first step involves initially assessing the company’s current system of processes, noting the areas that comply and areas that would need to be improved. Once the base foundation has been put into place and aligned with the standard, a certification body will conduct an audit to assess conformance to meeting these requirements.

So what does this mean for our customers? Having a Quality Management System means that we have a continual benchmark for quality. It ensures that we consistently strive to meet and exceed our customer’s requirements and expectations.
